As Director of the Division of Thoracic Anesthesia, Dr. Pawlowski coordinates over 1500 cases of Thoracic Surgery and Interventional Pulmonary procedures. He directly manages 15 anesthesiologists and supervises the training of 45 residents. His lectures include bronchoscopy, lung isolation and one-lung ventilation. His research interests include the use of simulation to advance the safety of robotic thoracic surgery and the use of simulation to enhance the learning of fiberoptic bronchoscopy. He has lectured as a visiting Professor in Albany, New York; New Haven, Connecticut; and Tel Aviv, Israel.
